Covid-19

Important Information

You will be asked if you or anyone in their household has cough, fever, shortness of breath or altered taste /smell. If so they should stay at home and isolate, do not come to the surgery. They can have a telephone review or 111 as needed.

In line with new guidelines from the government ALL patients should now wear a face covering / mask over their nose and mouth when in the building at all times

Please do not arrive early as you will only be let into the building 5 minutes before their appointment (unless very frail etc).

Only patient’s will be let into the building and no relatives please (unless disabled, learning difficulties or under 18 then 1 relative/carer may come into the building).

Please do not delay getting health care. If you need urgent medical help and it is not an emergency, contact your GP or NHS 111 online or telephone NHS 111 first. During the COVID19 pandemic it’s important that A&E is only used by those with serious or life threatening problems.  There are many ways to get the right care at the right time via www.nhs.uk, your pharmacist and your GP.

Your GP offers online, telephone and video consultations. If you are invited in for a face to face appointment, infection control measures are in place to keep patients and staff safe. YOU WILL NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK.
